What's This?!

If we'd only been golfing nine holes on Friday this would have been the light at the end of the tunnel between eight and nine.
As it was, we actually had to go through this after the second hole and then back on the way to nine. It was this cattle pass thing that was just barely big enough for the cart to fit through. If you look close you see where many of the cart roofs have dinged the cement and chipped it away. I told Jill to step on it because I was getting a little claustrophobic!
We golfed at Brian and Kate's course over in St. Peter....Shoreland Country Club.
We call it theirs because it's about a minute and a half drive from their place. It's a really pretty course and well laid out. But I wouldn't want to walk it. It's pretty hilly. Don't ask Jill if she liked it, though. She'll say no but only because I beat her! From the fairway on 16 you can just see B and K's cabin. The 19th hole was at their place where they fed us and some of their friends a summer-y meal. We were staying over so we could attend Livestock the next morning. It was a fund raising event where you can purchase animals like goats or chickens or ducks to provide families around the world better nutrition and a small source of income. There was a 5K run in the morning that we girls got to be part of. (Can you tell we raided Brian's closet?) We helped control traffic at two of the intersections but as Kate said "how much traffic is there at 8:00 on a Saturday morning in St. Peter?" I think we each stopped a couple cars at most.Brian thought there may have been at least $3000 raised from the run alone.
They had this guy parked out near the street to draw attention to the event. (Oh, to be able to move like that!)

But if he didn't do it do you think these girls would?!It got pretty rainy before we left for home but Brian and Kate had a canopy they put up to help keep Camp K dry.If you look over to the left of Jill's knee you can see the new handbag I bought. It's a little hard to see but Mindy said it reminds her of candy corn!

We went thru St.Peter on Saturday morning on our way to Minneapolis and wondered what Livestock was! Saw all the canopies and 'stuff' set up in the park--now we know!!

Looks like fun! That tunnel looks a little creepy! Oh, and I love those wav-y guys!
